A class designed to help professionals in the public sector appropriately communicate with and effectively involve the public during emergency situations and high risk issues. This class discusses how good public involvement and communication principles are applied to public health and safety emergencies, and includes lessons learned from recent events in New Orleans and Houston. Target audience: public sector health and safety professionals and decision-makers.
