Community Planning Overview: How to Devise a Strategy for Any Development Situation

Local authorities, developers, landowners and community groups are increasingly involving members of the local public in planning and development issues. But what's the best way of going about it? How does one choose among the bewildering range of approaches? This class provides an overview of the range of methods available and equips participants with the ability to devise a community planning strategy for their own situation. It is designed for both professionals and non-professionals and can be used purely as a training exercise or in real-world applications.
